5th Chapter 22nd Sloka

ye hi saṃsparśajā bhogā duḥkhayonaya eva te |
ādyantavantaḥ kaunteya na teṣu ramate budhaḥ ||5.22||

·         ये [ye] = those = यद् (pron. m.) + adjective to भोगाः 1/3
·         हि [hi] = indeed = अव्ययम्
·         संस्पर्शजाः [saṃsparsajāḥ] = that are born of contact (between the sense organs and desirable objects) = संस्पर्सज (m.) + adjective to भोगाः 1/3
+ कर्तरि to (भवन्ति) 1/3
·         दुःखयोनयः [duḥkhayonayaḥ] = the sources of pain = दुःखयोनिः (m.) + complement to भोगाः 1/3
·         एव [eva] = alone = अव्ययम्
·         ते [te] = they are = तद् (pron. m.) + adjective to दुःखयोनयः 1/3
·         आद्यन्तवन्तः [ādyantavantaḥ] = that which have a beginning and an end= आद्यन्तवत् (m.) + complement to भोगाः 1/3
·         कौन्तेय [kaunteya] = O son of Kuntī = कौन्तेय (m.)
·         [na] = not = अव्ययम्
·         तेषु [teṣu] = in them = तद् (pron. m.)
·         रमते [ramate] = revel = रम् (1A) to revel + लट्/कर्तरि/III/1
·         बुधः [budhaḥ] = the wise = बुध (m.) + कर्तरि to रमते 1/1

Because those enjoyments that are born of contact (between the sense organs and desirable objects) are the sources of pain alone, and have a beginning and an end, O son of Kuntī, the wise person does not revel in them.

Sentence 1:
Because (हि 0) those (ये 1/3) enjoyments (भोगाः 1/3) that are born of contact (between the sense organs and desirable objects) (संस्पर्शजाः 1/3) are the (ते 1/3) sources of pain (दुःखयोनयः 1/3) alone (एव 0), and have a beginning and an end (आद्यन्तवन्तः 1/3), O son of Kuntī (कौन्तेय 8/1), the wise person (बुधः 1/1) does no t ( 0) revel (रमते III/1) in them (तेषु 7/3).
