2nd Chapter 1st Sloka

सञ्जय उवाच
तं तथा कृपयाविष्टमश्रुपूर्णाकुलेक्षणम् ।
विषीदन्तमिदं वाक्यमुवाच मधुसूदनः ॥२.१॥

sañjaya uvāca
taṃ tathā kṛpayāviṣṭamaśrupūrṇākulekṣaṇam |
viṣīdantamidaṃ vākyamuvāca madhusūdanaḥ ||2.1||

सञ्जयः 1/1 उवाच III/1
तम् 2/1 तथा 0 कृपया 3/1 आविष्टम् 2/1 अश्रुपूर्णाकुलेक्षणम् 2/1
विषीदन्तम् 2/1 इदम् 2/1 वाक्यम् 2/1 उवाच III/1 मधुसूदनः 1/1 ॥२.१॥

·         सञ्जयः [sañjayaḥ] = Sañjaya = सञ्जय (m.) + कर्तरि to उवाच 1/1         
·         उवाच [uvāca] = said = वच् (2P) to say + लिट्/कर्तरि/III/1

·         तम् [tam] = that = तद् (pron. m.) + adj. to [अर्जुनम्] 2/1
·         तथा [tathā] = in that manner = अव्ययम्
o   तद् (that) + थाल् (in that manner)
·         कृपया [kṛpayā] = by compassion = कृपा (f.) + कर्तरि to आविष्टम् 3/1
·         आविष्टम् [āviṣṭam] = overwhelmed = आविष्ट (m.) + adj. to [अर्जुनम्] 2/1
o   + विश् to enter + क्त (... ed)
·         अश्रुपूर्णाकुलेक्षणम् [aśrupūrṇākulekṣaṇam] = whose eyes were filled with tears and showed distress = अश्रुपूर्णाकुलेक्षण (m.) + adj. to [अर्जुनम्] 2/1
o   अश्रुणा पूर्णेन आकुले ईक्षणे यस्य सः अश्रुपूर्णाकुलेक्षणः
·         विषीदन्तम् [viṣīdantam] = one who is sad = विषीदत् (m.) + adj. to [अर्जुनम्] 2/1
o   वि + सद् to be sorrowful + शतृ (one who is …ing)
·         इदम् [idam] = this = इदम् (n.) + adj. to वाक्यम् 2/1
·         वाक्यम् [vākyam] = sentence = वाक्य (n.) + कर्मणि to उवाच 2/1
·         उवाच [uvāca] = said = वच् (2P) to say + लिट्/कर्तरि/III/1
·         मधुसूदनः [madhusūdanaḥ] = Kṛṣṇa = मधुसूदन (m.) + कर्तरि to उवाच 1/1   


Sentence 1:
सञ्जयः 1/1 उवाच III/1
Sañjaya (सञ्जयः 1/1) said (उवाच III/1).

Sentence 2:
तथा 0 कृपया 3/1 आविष्टम् 2/1 अश्रुपूर्णाकुलेक्षणम् 2/1 तम् 2/1 विषीदन्तम् 2/1 [अर्जुनम् 2/1]
इदम् 2/1 वाक्यम् 2/1 मधुसूदनः 1/1 उवाच III/1 ॥२.१॥
To him (तम् 2/1) who was sad (विषीदन्तम् 2/1) and thus (तथा 0) overwhelmed (आविष्टम् 2/1) by compassion (कृपया 3/1), whose eyes were filled with tears and showed distress (अश्रुपूर्णाकुलेक्षणम् 2/1), Kṛṣṇa (मधुसूदनः 1/1) spoke (उवाच III/1) these (इदम् 2/1) words (वाक्यम् 2/1).

    May I request if possible please try to do Sankara bhasyam with grammatical analysis ,no one has done this work till date.

      From the 2nd chapter 46th shloka onward, I started posting basic grammatical analysis of the Shankara Bhashyam as well.
      I hope it will be useful for some extent.
